Hey there, I’m Lauren.
I’m thrilled to have the chance to work with you. As a Christian psychotherapist, my passion lies in walking alongside you through life’s many ups and downs, blending psychological insights with faith-based support to help you thrive and achieve the life you want.
I became a therapist because I believe everyone deserves to be heard and valued, each person is worthy of being known, and there is hope in every circumstance. Your story deserves to be witnessed and change is possible for every human.
My approach is warm, invested, compassionate, and deeply rooted in a commitment to understanding and supporting you. I strive to create a safe and nurturing environment where healing and growth can flourish.
I’m known for giving you practical tools that you can implement in your daily routine, increasing your awareness and understanding of your experiences, creating a safe place where you can explore all your choices, then highlighting your resilience, and strengthening your sense of hope and purpose.
I’ve worked in a variety of settings from schools and community clinics, to non-profits and higher levels of care. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Azusa Pacific University and my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University. Throughout these experiences, I have established a vastly effective toolkit that allows us to process traumas, rebuild relationships, increase self-esteem, improve your coping tools, tolerate distress, and regulate your emotions.
When I’m not in the office you can find me doing art on my patio, reading books, hiking in the mountains, walking my precious pup Maui, or making a home cooked meal with loved ones.
If you’re looking for a therapist who is not only skilled, but also passionate about helping you navigate your path, I’d love to connect.
